Tour Overview
Ethiopia is a land unlike any other—a country where ancient history, dramatic landscapes, and living traditions converge. As the "Cradle of Humankind" and the birthplace of coffee, Ethiopia offers travellers a journey through time, from the 3.2-million-year-old fossil of Lucy to the rock-hewn churches of Lalibela, carved from solid volcanic stone over 800 years ago . This 5-day tour is designed for travellers who want to experience the highlights of this extraordinary country in a short but immersive journey.
The northern historical circuit is Ethiopia's most iconic route, featuring UNESCO World Heritage Sites such as the royal castles of Gondar, the island monasteries of Lake Tana, and the legendary rock churches of Lalibela . Known as the "Camelot of Africa," Gondar's 17th-century fortress-city offers a glimpse into Ethiopia's imperial past, while the Blue Nile Falls—locally called Tis Issat or "The Water that Smokes"—showcases the country's natural grandeur . With domestic flights connecting these far-flung destinations, this tour maximises your time in Ethiopia's most remarkable places.
